General Terms & Conditions of a hire


'The Customer' means organisation or person who purchases or hires goods and services from the company.

'The Company' means Let's Throw A Party Ltd and all associated personnel.

The 'Goods' are any items supplied by contract between the customer and Let's Throw a Party Ltd, regardless of


The 'Contract' is any written or verbal agreement between Let's Throw a Party Ltd and the customer.

2.General Hire Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the supply and hire of goods and services by The Company to The Customer

If the customer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from The Company should immediately be consulted.

The Customer will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight of any sort, and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity.

The Customer shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the goods are not damaged or misused during the hire period.

The Customer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the
equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way, nor allow anyone. No Party Poppers, Coloured streamers or Silly String should be taken, thrown or sprayed onto the equipment, these materials permanently stain the material and The Customer will be liable to compensate Let's Throw A Party Ltd in the event of damage.

The Customer shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment supplied by The Company and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless he/she brings to the attention of The Company any faults or damage when it has been set up.

All goods remain the property of Let's Throw a Party Ltd.

The Company reserves the right to substitute any items as a result of circumstances beyond its control.

No substitute items shall be accepted by The Company when returning to collect goods when the hire period has ended

The Company reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and collect the goods at any time where The

Customer is in breach of these terms & conditions. In this instance The Customer must authorise The Company to enter

the property where the goods are being used in order to collect said goods.

The customer must not attempt to sell, sub hire or dispose of the goods in any way


A Booking Fee is required to reserve any booking once a quote price has been supplied by The Company. Your Booking Fee amount will reserve all equipment included in your booked package and staff required on a specific date (or range of dates) for your event.

The Booking Fee will be subtracted from the total booking amount, and the balance is due on the day of the event. No equipment shall be released to The Customer until the full amount due has been cleared.

Acceptance of the supplied quote by payment of the Booking Fee by The Customer shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms & conditions, and shall be subject to it’s cancellation and refund policies.

Payment is only accepted by The Customer who placed the original booking and not by a third party.


Should The Customer cancel the event, we will happily transfer your Booking Fee to another event as long as a minimum of 7 days notice is provided. Within 7 days prior to the event date, we are unable to transfer event dates or packages unless arranged by us in exceptional circumstances. The Booking Fee amount is non refundable should you decide to cancel your booking with us.

Should you decide to change your date, or package, this must be done a minimum of 7 days prior to the event. Any change to the booking will be dependent on The Company's availability at that time, and The Company makes no guarantee that changes to the booking can be accomodated.

Our equipment is suitable for all weathers except for very strong wind above 24mph and heavy rain. The covers on our inflatable pubs are weather and waterproof so are still suitable for all but extreme weathers. The Company will only cancel the hire if they deem the weather to cause a health and safety risk, or a risk or damage to The Goods. In this case, The Booking Fee paid will be transferred to a Future Booking (no expiry date) refunds will not be issued.

The Company reserve the right to cancel any hire agreement in exceptional circumstances. If we decide to cancel your booking other than due to extreme weather we will give as much notice as is possible, and all payments will be refunded or transferred to another date/event if agreed with The Customer.


General Terms & Conditions of Let's Throw a Party Ltd hire

We supply all equipment listed on the event booking, and anything required by The Company to ensure safe operation of The Goods.

To ensure your location is suitable. Please check the location is large enough to accommodate. Minimum size information is given on our website for each individual piece of equipment.

In addition to space, the below requirements must be met by the event location:

-  Ground must be flat and clean. Grass only for outdoor hiring. (NO MUDDY GARDENS WE MAY REFUSE TO PITCH ON MUDDY GROUND)

-  Minimum 2ft wide gate access

-  If access is gained through a property, there must be a clear path. We will not be liable for any damage caused by us in the property.
- At least 1 standard 13amp plug, a generator can be provided upon request at extra cost. This must be given at

the initial event booking to ensure availability.

A. We may refuse hire of our equipment if we believe the venue, location or event will break health and safety laws. Our staff will ensure the equipment is set up in the safest way possible and their decision on the hire of our equipment is final. The following points must be followed at all times:

-  Inflatables must not be moved or tampered with once set up by our staff.

-  Pegs must not be removed or relocated.

-  No smoking in or near inflatable pubs

-  No naked flames in or around inflatable pubs

-  Adult supervision at all times

-  Electrical leads must not be moved or jammed in doors as this can lead to damage.

-  If any damage occurs we must be informed immediately.

-  The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to equipment whilst on hire.

-  Any loss or damage caused by misuse will be charged to the hirer.

IMPORTANT NOTICE The Company can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of The Company. As the equipment will be in the hirers possession and control whilst in use, any liability for injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances described above rests with The Customer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that The Customer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the equipment.

I DECLARE that I have read and understand these terms and conditions of hire and any relevant operating and safety instructions supplied with the equipment:

You, the HIRER are responsible whilst hiring this Bouncy Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions and guides are followed: We strongly advise that you seek your own liability insurance if you are concerned about the cover this contract allows.

This unit has an age limit of (ASK DELIVERY DRIVER). Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment.

No food or drinks or gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and damage (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition or damaged then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning and, or repairing charge)

All footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the Bouncing Castle.

No face paints, party poppers, streamers, silly string or ink based products to be used either on or near the Bouncy Castle.

No smoking or cooking equipment near the Bouncy Castle.

Important Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and under no circumstances should this be allowed.

A responsible Adult must supervise the Bouncy Castle at all times. Alcohol or any other substance is forbidden whilst using or supervising the castle.

Make sure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of Children using it. Try to avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time.

Prevent Horseplay, Please ensure Children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others. Somersaults are strictly forbidden as these are very dangerous on this type of equipment.

If the Bouncing Inflatable Castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.

Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a Child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off !

It is essential to ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle and also any Child who is feeling unwell.

Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle.

Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.

Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear.THE BLOWER SHOULD BE AT LEAST 1 METRE AWAY FROM THE BOUNCER.

The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used

In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. The blower has a safety reset button, try pressing this, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.


Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle do so at their own risk.

The person/s or organisation hiring this Inflatable equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Our Company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

On hiring you automatically accept you have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. You are aware that whilst in your care you are fully responsible for the inflatable and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition, i.e.: If it is in a dirty or muddy condition, you will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge.
